Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) refers to the structured transmission of data between organizations by electronic means. Distribution Business Software Qc Software Warehouse Control System Transforms Wi Distribution Center

Pleasant Company based in DeForest Wisconsin has a distribution center which is responsible for direct-mail sales of all American Girl® merchandise to millions of households around the United States. Due to performance issues with their current Warehouse Control System (WCS), in conjunction with an upcoming system expansion, Pleasant Company required a replacement WCS that could be integrated without disrupting their current operations.



The WCS had to be capable of receiving multi-stop orders from the Warehouse Management System (WMS), route the cartons to designated pick modules for order fulfillment processing, track the carton to ensure order integrity, and finally deliver the completed carton to the designated shipping lane. When QC Software's WCS was installed, it exceeded the customer's expectations for performance and reliability.
